We went on a last minute trip to St Croix US Virgin Islands. my son and I like to fish and since we rented a house right on the beach, I wanted to bring 2 fishing poles. I came across these collapsible fishing rods and figured Id give them a try. I bought two of the 1.4m length. very compact. easily fit in our luggage. Honestly, I was very surprised at how far I could cast with these little rods. Using a heddon super spook jr lure, I caught a barracuda from the shore as you can see in the picture. I was worried the rod would snap as I was reeling in the barracuda but to my surprise, it didnt break. It was worth every penny in my opinion. as a side note, a few times the line bunched up around the reel when casting. possibly user error. I did bring extra line just in case something like this happened.
I use this for fishing for perch. They put up a great fight on such a tiny pole, great fun!
I bought the 38in one and put some 8lb mono on it for a ultralight catfish set up and it holds up better than I expected. Only bad thing was the line that it comes with.
Surprisingly strong and high quality! Watched some videos before purchasing and it seemed like a good product. This listing has exactly what I was expecting based on my research. I caught a nice walleye my first trip with it and it seems to have good casting distance!
Was out fishing with my wife and brothers. My wife’s sister decided to join us later in day and didn’t have a pole. So I gave her my good one and busted out the baby pole. To my surprise this thing worked flawlessly catching 10 or so decent sized fish with not a single problem.
Holy H311 fight on. Very very ultralight. Spooled some 10lb braid. Only down side is the drag adjustments aren't very gradual. However very impressed with its capabilities
It is better than expected. Fits perfectly in my tackle bag. Besides the size, you wouldn't know there was anything different when compared to a regular pole and reel.
